"The truth is, there are those who, if they didn't play OSRS gold, they weren't able to eat and could die of hunger," a former Runescape farmer who wanted to remain anonymous told me on Facebook. "I have friends who perform daily and if they don't play, they do not eat daily."

Earlier this season, a local newspaper printed an article on the process. Runescape players, meanwhile, continually report seeing heaps of gold farmers crowding up locations such as the Silk Mine and East Dragons.

This has resulted in growing anxieties, with players performing everything from regularly demanding that developer Jagex ban all gold farmers into publishing a guide which assists other players more effectively search, kill, and insult farmers. "I have friends who perform with daily, and if they do not play, they do not eat that day."

"I never thought I'd see a manual on how best to cheap Runescape gold effectively kill bad people," read one response. "Literal humanitarian catastrophe going on there. The manual's author believes it is a fantastic strategy to not just kill them taunt them in their own vocabulary and teabag them on return... That is some fairly arsehole shit right there," read another.
