Fortnite has experienced some intermittent technical problems lately, most notably some matchmaking problems that resulted in the developer to delay the much-anticipated Playground style for a week. Nonetheless, fortnite items for sale's been some time as it saw extended unplanned downtime, so we expect that that isn't what we are considering here.

Fortnite has among the most competitive upgrade programs in the company, and it is apparent that updating a game so frequently can cause all sorts of unanticipated problems to develop. Last extended downtime was the result of errors that caused a disproportionate quantity of database questions, and Epic went into some pretty intense detail describing exactly what was going on. The company has a habit of a certain amount of transparency, so expect lots of updates if this goes on much longer.

'Fortnite' On Nintendo Shift Today Has Gyro Controls.A little good news for Fortnite players on Nintendo Switch: Epic has added gyro controls to the match, so in the event that you prefer aiming with a bit of help in the motion controllers rather than rely solely upon the thumbsticks, you are in luck.

I am still a bit conflicted over motion controls myself, but I do not think that it hurts to have the alternative. I'll take the Switch version to get a spin and see how gyro controls help or hinder the experience.

Note: A previous version of the post stated you could utilize the exact same Epic account on either Nintendo Switch and PS4 after the v5.0 upgrade. That was an error. I was basing my information off of an article at gambling site IGN. That article has since been upgraded for this note from the editor.
