If the shift in philosophy wasn't clear before it's now. Since Diablo: Resurrected patch 2.4. slated to release early next year following a period of testing on D2R Ladder Items the game's newly created public test realm the game will not be similar to the RPGs that gamers were accustomed to playing. Patch 2.4 would be the first balance patch to Diablo following patch 1.13c last March. bringing changes to the skills of class players, improvements for the game's recruitable mercenaries, new Runewords and much more, all which is for the very first time in more than a decade.

Why are these changes happening now, as opposed to when the game launches? In an interview recently conducted in which Diablo: Resurrected producer Matt Cederquist and chief designer Rob Gallerani, the plan was always to get the game fans had played and loved out the door before moving towards the future.

"The reason why we didn't come out with this change in balancein the first place was that we wanted to ensure we provided players with a genuine experiences," Gallerani said. "If we'd come out with something that was different from the ones they remembered, we would have failed on that front.

It was really exciting because when the landing was announced we felt pretty confident we would be able to stick with the landing. However, the immediate feedback was, 'Well, how about you tweak this or modify this, or even a new meta or add more items like this.' So we were extremely excited to get to bring that forward."

The intention behind patch 2.4. Gallerani stated, is to make more classes feasible, and not to make the game perfectly balanced. "The way we approached that is that we're not the game nerfing anything," He said. "We know that everybody loves Hammerdin Buy D2R Ladder Items. This isn't going to be taken away from the people who love it. If you loved the builds you built then you'll continue to be in love with that building."
